Education with LEGO is my idea for tools and ideas to use bricks at school. I want collect as much as possible sources of lego in education - articles, ICT (for exampe CAD), tasks, photos, films and so on. It would be CC licensed, for everyone who is interested in.
I use bricks in special school (autistic kids), so I think everyone can! Every day I'm looking for new possibilities, join me! :-)
The best tool would be a blog with multi-administrators (each partner can be). With articles, chat, different materials. Tags will help to find useful materials.
Main activity will be collaboration, creativity, social skills, use lego in different subjects.
From August to May we'll collect materials, evaluate them, show possibilities of utilitarity. Except of this partners will prepare tasks:
- project of minifigure,
- making game board with lego,
- use in story telling,
- use in different subjects (maths, science, reading, biology and so on).
Blog will be full of photos activities, open for everyone.
At the final of project every partner prepare LEGO FESTIVAL for local environment or school.

Unit 2
To improve:
- communication with my autistic class, families,
- improve activity, independence, motivation,
- creative lessons,
- team-work with my teacher-team.
I'll like to try:
- something new, fresh,
What I'm not happy with?
- my pupils can't learn "normal" way. I have to talk to their parents.
Not-working:
- ...
Projects I like (good practice I found for my class):
https://live.etwinning.net/projects/project/120371 - my class should read, write and count.
https://live.etwinning.net/projects/project/141412 - coding with scratch junior (it's difficult for us, but I have to try)
https://live.etwinning.net/projects/project/142194 - play, create and so on, ideal for my special class.
What do I need?
- cooperate with rest of teachers,
- support ("Good job, Kasia" suffice),
- great ideas :-)
Use ICT tools in my classroom:
I have laptop, PC, tablet, smartphone and I love it!
My favourite apps for pupils with autism are:
- apps for Dash and Dot (robots) and ozobot (tiny robot),
- drOmnibus (for autism)
- lego apps,
- pic collage,
- let me talk,
- Przyjazne linie (first steps with writing),
- Bit by bit.
I often use padlet, Movie Maker, tagul and so on.
